       2. From the angle of moisture content. Charcoal is due to the strong absorption of substances, will absorb water in the air, so that its water content increases. Therefore, the moisture content of charcoal itself has no effect on its size and quality, but the customer's requirement for the moisture content of charcoal is as low as possible to improve its economic value. Generally speaking, the moisture content of fresh charcoal is less than 3%.
 
      3. Ash content. All of these are white or pink substances left after charcoal combustion, which is what we usually call ash. The use of charcoal directly affects its size and economic value. Such as straw, rice husk ash and other substances content is large, and easy to fall off in the combustion process, resulting in low combustion temperature, not suitable for people's life and industrial carbon ash, carbonization process varies with temperature. Generally speaking, under the same conditions, the proportion of charcoal burning in broad-leaved forest is higher than that in coniferous forest, and the proportion of charcoal burning from raw bark is also larger. Ash is usually 1 to 4% charcoal.
 
       4.Volatile matter. The volatile content depends on the carbonization temperature. According to different uses, we can use low-carbon combustion or low-carbon combustion. The former releases gaseous volatile carbohydrates such as CO, CO2, H2 and CH4 when calcined at high temperature, and its content is generally 12-20%. The content of volatile released from pyrocarbon is less than 5%.
 
       5. Heat. Under certain conditions, the energy released per kilogram of charcoal is expressed in kcal. Carbonization heat is directly related to carbonization temperature and holding time. Carbonization in the same temperature and time conditions, different raw materials carbonization heat is not the same. Generally speaking, high carbonization temperature, long holding time and high carbon content make the heat naturally high. When the carbonization temperature is lower than 450 ¡æ, the heat of waste sawdust and charcoal is generally 6500-7000 kcal / kg, and the heat of charcoal between straw and rice husk is about 6000 kcal / kg. When the carbonization temperature is higher than 600 ¡æ, the heat of carbonized materials can be increased by 500-1000 kcal.
